Perla also helps to securely store critical corporate documents such as incident reports, health and safety records, policies and procedures, accreditation, equipment maintenance logs, etc.

Long-term care facilities struggle with three major credentialing challenges:
1. Credentialing Delays – Staff often faced long waits for credentialing approvals, disrupting hiring, onboarding, and care delivery.
2. Compliance Uncertainty - Human error and missed credentialing lead to legal exposure and high penalties.
3. Administrative Overload – HR teams and administrators relied on spreadsheets and paper files, creating stress, inefficiency, and compliance risks.
Recognizing the need for a better solution, Reza and Maria Fernanda decided to create Perla — a modern intuitive platform designed specifically for long-term care. Perla automates credentialing, reduces regulatory risk, and gives administrators more time to focus on delivering exceptional resident care.
